Well, not such a flashback as usual, but in skimming through all the photos, we stopped at this one. This is Alba, doing the waving, laying next to her brother ‘Walter’. They are 10 days old in this photo.

In randomly selecting our Flashback Photos, it’s so nice to see the reappearance of Kelpie in this photo. Mama seems to think this was taken around 2001 or 2002. Sweet little Kelpie (meaning of the name is Water Horse) stranded on a rock. She probably wished she had legs the length of a horse! Don’t panic though, she was actually standing on the beach, so no need to call out the lifeboats! Too late now anyway!

Awwww, what a lovely photo to see – Scotties on this side of Hadrians Wall. Sad though to note this photo was taken sometime after Kelpie passed away in 2009 as there’s only the Fab Four left. Still as we said in an earlier post, these flashbacks can be bittersweet.

The Famous Five: Izzy, Gus, Kelpie, Bobby and Finlay. Looks like they are taking a well deserved slurp in a village duck pond. You can see Bobby’s a bit more alert as to the presence of the ducks at the far side of the pond – not a chance of catching them, but I bet he would’ve given it a good try!.

Bobby and Finlay, probably not more than 18 months old in this photo – must be dated around 2004. Here they are munching on ‘dentastix’ which are now a definite ‘no no’ in this household in 2017 – Supposed to keep teeth your teeth clean but Mama’s not so sure these days, but back then it looks like Bobby and Finlay really enjoyed them!
