Dedicated to my beloved Scotties
Oh boy. Now then. this is going back to 2003. Me and my sadly departed brother (Fin) were about 6 months old and we went camping with our real mama (Izzy) and our older sister (Kelpie) – both of whom are now with Fin and Gus playing across that Rainbow Bridge.
Anyway, we’d obviously gone out on a long walk and then we all collapsed on Their bed – how funny!!!! Can’t remember where Mama and Dada eventually slept – maybe they squeezed on to the bed as well!
This was a super chair. It was bought ‘specially for us. Here we are at Keltie Bridge Campsite in Callander, in Scotland.
It took us a little while to get used to the “doughnut” as Mama called it – it was full of air and when one of us jumped into it, the other doggie ended up being “popped” out. Gus was having none of that, so he chose to sit on the grass, where no rearranging of his seating plans took place – he was like that!
Another one of our regular “family gatherings”.

For those new to our blog, here’s the family tree.
Back Row : Poppy is my niece, she was one of my sister Kelpie’s babies. Poppy’s birthday is 29th March 2001, she’s now 12½ yrs old. Next to Poppy is Finlay (you all know about Finlay) and next to Finlay is another William, a friend of our family), then there’s me.
Gus and William on the front row were litter brothers; both born 12th Feb 1999.
All that’s left is Poppy and myself, but we haven’t forgotten any of the others – they live strong in our hearts, especially Mama’s heart.
This is me. On my little bridge. In my front garden. Watching the world go by. The bridge is a little more well used now and could do with a coat of paint – just saying!
