Sparhawks hard at work!

Peemail Trail

Mum thought it would be funny to post a blog about us “peeing”. So here you will find photos of us reading and writing on the peemail trail.

What you will discover is that we are kept very busy each and every day, as there’s new stuff laid down regularly. And sometimes there are lengthy messages to read. We like to do our job right! Don’t all Scotties!

Just a few interesting facts for 4th July

  • There were 56 signers of the Declaration of Independence, but they didn’t all sign at the same time, nor did they sign on 4th July 1776. The official event occurred on August 2nd 1776 when 50 men signed it.
  • Thomas McKean was the last to sign in January 1777.
  • Both Thomas Jefferson and John Adams died on Independence Day, July 4, 1826
  • The first public Fourth of July event at the White House occurred in 1804.

Just what the . . . .

Floating, walking or heaven forbid: swimming?

At least I’ve not been cartooned – yet. Mum thought I looked weird enough not to “tweak” with me – aren’t I the lucky boy.

Anyway, am I walking or floating (yeah, like a Scottie can float) – or even swimming!!!! anyway take your best shot, and surprise me!

Being Marilyn Monroe . . .

Bobby being Marilyn!

This is Bobby’s “watery” impersonation of the iconic image of Marilyn Monroe and her skirt being blown about in that film we Scotties can’t remember. See how Bobby’s “skirt” (sorry Kilt) is raised up. Which do you prefer?

Plus: look how much water we had to contend with today!

  • 1900 : Hawaii became a United States Territory
  • 1946 : John Logie Baird, Scottish teleivision pioneer died (born 1888)
  • 1962 : European Space Research Organisation established in Paris, later becoming the European Space Agency
