Friends with benefits!

Couldn’t get out during the weekend – weather was a little unpredictable, so we hunkered down and had a restful weekend.

So here’s us with our niece Poppy who came to visit on Friday and as the weather was good, we took her for a walk around one of our local patches. Finlay in his stroller and me & Pops sniffing and ambling along. Had to drag the two humans along as they were in much need of exercise as They’d just had a big lunch, We did get a few crumbs so we can’t complain.

Her friend Maggie, asked if there were any ducks along the way as she wanted to feed them some bread. On occasions there’s the odd duck family alongside the disused canal, but on Friday it seemed they had all gone somewhere else. However, continuing our walk took us past a field with some horses in. So Her friend gave the horse some bread and cake. This is the reaction from one of the horses after sniffing the cake offered to him! The little fella kept doing it and She managed to get a brilliant photo of the horse.

Cake .... gimme cake!
Cake …. gimme cake!

December Advent Calendar

Wow! We have been busy. We’ve done an advent calendar, featuring pictures of us adorned with christmassy stuff. There’s one for each day, with a grand finale for New Year’s Day. We hope that you will join in with checking out our stuff …… please.

We’re also gonna do a COM PET TITION”  on it as well. You’ll get the idea if you keep checking on the posts as December unfolds. But to give you a paws-up on it, each B U TI FUL picture of us has either the title of a Christmas song/carol or a line taken from a Christmas song/carol displayed across our amazingly put together piccies.

We’ve made 31 Advent Picture Posts, one for each day of December, if anyone was wondering ’bout that!

All you need to do is send us a list naming the 31 Christmas Songs/Christmas Carols the words are taken from. But don’t do anything until after January 1st, otherwise you won’t have 31 song titles. The Doggie with the most correctest song titles will be sent a Sparhawk Doggie Bag of  Doggie Goods (if we’ve not eaten them beforehand) No really, we shall send you some of our favourite nibbles to where-ever you are in the world.

We hope you enjoy our Christmas Advent Calendar.

“See you tomorrow!”
