December …
Its the most wonderful time of the year ……. Well it should be, but Mama has not had it too good these last 12 weeks. So to save her any additional stress I have told her that I’ll “re run” my Advent Calendar postings that I did 2 years ago. I’m sure no one will mind, plus I think we’ve collected a few new ‘followers’ who might like to see my creative side!
So, for those of you who saw the Advent Calendar postings first time around, I’ll let you off visiting my blog regularly throughout December. However, it would still be nice to see you all!
I’ve changed the ‘theme’ for this festive period – I think you might already have noticed that – and I’ve gone all christmassy by uploading a christmas profile! Oh boy, what won’t I do for treats this christmas. I’m displaying the photo here, ‘cos I look a little tiny in the profile photo, and I know how handsome you all think I am, so I wouldn’t want to disappoint anyone!
We’re doing a world-wide trip over the next couple of days, so get those treats ready and a bowl of water and I’ll see you all soon!
RooOOooodles, Bobby

December 1st
First published two years ago, we’re doing a “re-run” of our Sparhawk Advent Calendar starting today, and running for the month of December …
The Evil Lord Zuckerberg
Lets give a big welcome to my fabulous friend Angus Fala, from a place called “facebook” that is culling all our scottie friends. At least there will be warm welcome from wordpress …… yay!
Angus Fala Worldwide Enterprises
A lot of my dog friends are being killed off – on Facebook. We’ve had a nice, vibrant place on Facebook, with lots of Scottie people talking to each other and a lot of Scotties, with their own accounts, discussing the world from their paws. A lot of users have spent a lot of time there – it’s been quite helpful and entertaining. Only an idiot would try to kill it. Who could be that kind of idiot? Lord Zuckerberg and his minions.
Rumors have been flying for a while that pet profile accounts were in jeopardy. But they were only far away animals, not even Scotties, so I paid little attention. Then a few months ago, Dusty Border Terrier got the axe, but he had already passed away, and was a Border Terrier, so it didn’t concern me much. Then last week, the pace quickened – first…

5 Favourite Photos – Day 5
And finally, the 5 day Favourite Photo mania is at an end. After today I shall have my own bloggie back. But I shouldn’t grumble too much because the photos were all of me and my brothers, sister and mum, plus the odd one of that feisty little fireball called Fabianne.
This is the last photo in the 5 day photo challenge, Mama displayed on her Facebook page, and it shows the clan of five – oh those happy days. Here’s what Mama said about this photo …. “And finally, here’s the photo for Day Five : such happy happy memories of my Sparhawk clan of 5 beautiful beautiful scotties from 2007. Only Bobby Scottie Elkin remains by my side, the others are waiting for us across the Rainbow Bridge! One day, Izzy, Kelpie, Gus and Finlay, we’ll all meet again, and go scampering in the countryside, just like in this wonderful photo.”

5 Favourite Photos – Day 4
Ooops, forgot to post yesterday, and I should have because this Favourite Photo that Mama has chosen to display on her Facebook page, is just me, and me alone. Why I forgot to post I don’t know! Anyway here’s what she said about this photo : “So here’s the photo for Day Four. Obviously one of many favourite photos of Bobby Scottie Elkin – he does love to sit on the same seat as me, and to my surprise, some years back, on my birthday, the now sadly departed Scott Dearge sent me his rendition of my beloved Bobby. Rest in Peace Scott, your work goes on and on …..”
