Foto Fun Furs-day!

Blue Bobby!

Not that Bobby’s sad – Bobby is never sad. Life is far too exciting and challenging and wonderful for Bob to ever be sad. This colour could match his name though: “Sparhawk Sapphire Knight”. Apparently the lighter the shade of the sapphire the more expensive it is, so it’s said. Fortunately Bob’s not that expensive, but he is irreplaceable!

Finlay has a new baby!

Meet the newest arrival in the Sparhawk household – “Lio” the Lion – yeah couldn’t think of anything more suitable.

Fin only loves ONE baby. All the others get destroyed, ripped to smithereens, or their “squeakies” forcibly removed in a matter of minutes. All except THE ONE. Fin will just lick, and clean and lick and clean and ………. so we call it His Baby.

So, Dad went to London on Friday (reception at the Canadian Embassy, He got to wear a Silver Medal, offered him by a Canadian Rower – how cool is that – not that much in our doggie eyes!) and then he went to the Olympic Shop where he purchased Lio for Fin and a t-shirt for Her. Notice that me, Bobby got nothing!

Do I care, no not really, cos I stole Lio from Fin for a while and gave him a good old bite or two or three …….

You can see Fin with Lio and his original “baby” bottom left of picture.

Angus …..

It’s Sunday afternoon here in the UK and we thought we’d visit our blog to report on Fin’s latest ACTH test results and to share this information with our friend Angus.

But rather than being able to share some good news, we sit here at the computer in shock to read that Angus sadly passed away on Friday.

Our thoughts and sympathies go out to his family and doggie friends, as they too must be stunned by his death.

We are going to spend the rest of Sunday in quiet contemplation of yet another “fur-end” leaving us all too soon.

We dedicate this fabulous quotation we stumbled upon some years ago about a Scottie:
