Flashback Fridays

When Mama met Cesar Millan. Yes, Cesar came to the United Kingdom a few years back, and Dada bought them VIP tickets to go see the man himself. Sadly we weren’t allowed to attend even though the whole show as about doggies. The VIP tickets gave them the opportunity of staying behind after the rest of the audience had to leave, and also they got the chance of asking Cesar a question. Nearly all 300 VIP guests wrote a question and put it in a box which was then taken back stage and five questions were chosen. And  …… guess what …… Mama got her question chosen. She had to stand up and repeat the question to Cesar – this is him responding to her question. She wanted to know whether he would be prepared to work with pet organisations in the UK (she had a vested interest at the time ‘cos she was the Secretary of the largest UK scottish terrier rescue charity in the UK – Scottish Terrier Emergency Care Scheme) and she hoped she could get him working with her. He replied that he was interested, but he needed to finish off some stuff in America first then he would be back! Oh boy Mama was really made up.

Thirsty Thursday

This always makes me Bark Out Loud. This is the stream quite close to home. But I always make sure I grab a drink …. a long drink from this stream. I do this on purpose ‘cos Mama is usually desperate for a tiddle herself by this time and on the odd occasion she’s had to stand very very still until the feeling has passed!

My Scottish Holiday, July 2013

Oh boy, its taken weeks to get organised enough to upload photos from my trip to Scotland in July. Out of 300+ photos I took, I’ve chosen 49, but I won’t be offended if you don’t get to see them all. As they say “sometimes you need to have been there”! Anyway, I’m hoping that some of the other pics will get aired along the way, in time. So here’s the few I’ve chosen for now.  When you “click” on one of the photos, a new slideshow format appears and you’ll get to see what I’ve written about each one – enjoy!

When the Snow came ….. The snow was soooo deep that Mama had to clear a path for us to plod along. This is me on my front drive, deciding which little pathway to follow. Yeah …. I know this is not as bad as some of you guys get, but for us here in the UK it brought the country to a standstill. In fact we only need one tiny tiny snowflake and we go into meltdown!!!!
