Oh My! This is Me! I’m only about 8 months old here. But hey ….. I’m still handsome, don’t you think. This photo is taken on the River Derwent as it flows through the grounds of Chatsworth House, a regular place we visit and full of history.

Well now …. for those of you of years past, you will know that Gus alway had a problem getting across the local stream’s stepping stone. So on this occasion as you can see, rather than him getting thoroughly wet, he was carried over. Not something that Gus (God Rest His Soul) would have overly worried about – it was a means to an end – and if he needed carrying … then so be it. He just shrugged it off and carried on as he he’d skipped across those pesky stones! God Love him ….. we still do!

And finally, the 5 day Favourite Photo mania is at an end. After today I shall have my own bloggie back. But I shouldn’t grumble too much because the photos were all of me and my brothers, sister and mum, plus the odd one of that feisty little fireball called Fabianne.
This is the last photo in the 5 day photo challenge, Mama displayed on her Facebook page, and it shows the clan of five – oh those happy days. Here’s what Mama said about this photo …. “And finally, here’s the photo for Day Five : such happy happy memories of my Sparhawk clan of 5 beautiful beautiful scotties from 2007. Only Bobby Scottie Elkin remains by my side, the others are waiting for us across the Rainbow Bridge! One day, Izzy, Kelpie, Gus and Finlay, we’ll all meet again, and go scampering in the countryside, just like in this wonderful photo.”

Wow! Now then. This is ‘The Old Man of Storr’ on the Isle of Skye (apparently our ancestral home if you believe some of the history books). The Old Man of Storr is the monolith type structure, so I’m told! My real Mama (Izzy) and sister Kelpie had actually been up there. Mama thinks this was taken in or around 1997 or 1998. Their little sturdy legs carried them right up to the ‘cathedral’ and beyond. Although I have been to the Isle of Skye, this is one majestic icon that I didn’t get to leave any pee-mail on – and according to Mama I never shall ‘cos she says her legs are far too old to walk up there again – boooooring!

Well, here I am. Looks like I’m rather hot and obviously thirsty. Well isn’t that funny that today happens to be Thursday and I’m thirsty!
Hope you guys are all keeping cool and drinking lots of water – but not too much otherwise the peeps will have you off to the vets!
