A Sparhawk Clan walk : all five of us on this occasion. We stopped for a slurp in the River Dove – magical place somewhere in Derbyshire. We’ve made it a little difficult to see it’s beauty, but I’m sure you’ll be able to imagine it.

This is me. Sleeping. Rather well, don’t you think. I seem to have lots of photos of me sleeping. I think it’s something I do really well. And you know what? It really doesn’t use up that much energy. So, if you think you need to do something today, then why not try sleeping!
Foto Fun
Thought I’d try something different on Thursdays, for a while. Not posted Foto Funs for some time now. Thought it would be a change from Thirsty Thursdays – but hey! you guys know just how much I love slurping from rivers, streams, puddles and my own drinking bowl when we go walking, so I won’t be abandoning my Thirsty Fotos just yet. And anyway, I’ve been teaching Fabi to slurp in those same places. Anyway, back to my Foto Fun. This was taken in my awning during one of our motorhome camping trips – don’t you think I look rather spooky?

I can’t quite remember where this was. But judging by the fact that there are five of us in this photo I think it was during one of our Dovedale Walks. I bet, given the chance, we’d have drunk that duck pond dry!

Flashback Fridays
Oh boy … this is a right proper flashback. Probably around 2007 when there were 5 of us. Here we are in Derbyshire (United Kingdom) at a very very pretty place called Dovedale. We liked (and still do if you’ve noticed) to walk by streams – it means we can have a wee drink whenever we like – and Dovedale has some of the most picturesque river valleys, well we think so.
So here we are, and I think this is at the start of the walk. I know because I’ve spotted a few more photos of us further long the river – these I’ll share some other Friday.
Hope all is well with everyone out there in blogville – keep safe, keep warm (if you’re in a cold zone) or keep cool (if you’re experiencing warm weather). We in the UK are experiencing our usual grey, dull, wet weather. Oh well, we wouldn’t have such green countryside to ramble in (like the photo above) if it wasn’t nearly always wet!
