Fin’s Foto Fun

Don't I just look sooooo cute!

Thought I’d share some photos with you. So, I looked through pictures of me, and found some cute ones. Didn’t bother looking at photos of my brofurs – they can do their own when it’s their turn.

Hope you think I’m as cute as I think I am! Yap! I’ll blow my own trumpet ‘cos no one else will.

Enjoy!

Merry Monday!

We’re starting the week with some fun. Check this youtube clip of Uggie, the doggie star of “The Artist”. It made us howl with laughter! She’s now going to try to teach me, Bobby, how to do the “bowing” thing. Fat chance, I mean bring it on. She knows how much I like to learn stuff.

Anyway Merry Monday! Enjoy!

Oh! PS: It’s Her 50th birthday today! Yappy Birthday Mama! Roo Roo Roo

Oh My ……..

The Grooming Table Has Appeared …… From Nowhere!

Gus on grooming table - not happy!

Now then. What’s happening here. It’s raining. It’s grey. It’s thoroughly miserable weather-wise, and by the looks of it, we’re gonna be thoroughly miserable now that the Grooming Table has appeared.

She’s been muttering that if we won’t go out in the garden for a tiddle, what’s the point in going on a walk if we don’t want to go out. Now that she’s finished pampering her finger nails, she’s gonna “pamper” us.

Well. WE DON’T NEED PAMPERING! We’re Scotties for heaven’s sake! We like to be scruffy and tangled, and mattered. We like to pick the forest out of our leg furnishings at night. Especially at night when we jump on Their beds as they’re trying to sleep. It’s the best time. No distractions. House all quiet. No need to sit on sentry duty at the gate. What better time than Bedtime. They don’t think so though. Often get grumbled at. Do we care. No we don’t!We just carry on, lick, lick, tug, bite & nibble ……..

Scruffy Gus not happy

Ooops, lost the track there. Anyway, it looks like we’re gonna get “done”.

Think of us …… please, please, please, whilst we’re being –  “pampered”?????!!!!

Hope you all have a great weekend

Finlay and the Cygnet

Just how close can a Scottie and a Cygnet get …….

Finlay & the Cygnet

Meet Finlay’s new friend. This is one of a group FIVE cygnets, followed closely by their parents. It’s been a fantastic sight on the Reservoir to see all SEVEN gracefully moving around the reservoir. Although now, the parents are trying to encourage their babies to find their own way, and one of the cygnets is now not allowed near the rest of them!

We regularly share bread with them, the ducks, coots and gulls, but are disappointed that She gives the Reservoir Residents all the bread and we don’t get any! Other than those crumbs that don’t make it into the water.

What new friends have you guys been making …..

Oh My Dog ……..

It’s Friday 13th !!!!

Gus, looking "Friday 13th"

Desperately need to go for a nice walk today, as we were “holed-up” waiting for a delivery yesterday, but have realised (scary music …..) that it’s Friday 13th.

Oh well, we’ll be on the look out for fallen and crashing trees; puddles that are deeper than they appear; on coming dogs that look friendly but turn out otherwise; and generally be alert for ladders and black cats! Oh. And we hope She’s careful too ……

Please take care, all of you out there, and have a safe but enjoyable weekend!

Thank Dog It’s ……

Stopped being so windy!

Last week the wind caused us Scotties lot of problems. If the wind was behind us then our bottoms were exposed – not very nice – and our beards and eyebrows wanted to overtake us and cause us not to see where we were going!

Bobby given the fallen tree a good stare!

If we were heading into the wind, then twigs, leafs and other stuff seemed to head towards us with gay abandon! Not sure which way we preferred the wind to blow. Oh Yes. We do. We’d like the wind to calm down, be sensible and do nice things like just ruffle our coats a little. Oh and not to frighten Her when a tree crashes to the ground just feet from the path we were on.

We’re not asking for much, are we?

Fin quite concerned, Gus .... not bovvered!
