Flashback Fridays

Arhhhhhhhh!

Now then. This picture dates back to 1999. Didn’t Prince sing a song about a party or something …… and wasn’t there a sci-fi series called Space 1999. Anyway, ALL well before our time.

Here is Isobel (or Izzy as They always called her – note the Scottish spelling of the name – yeah there’s something going on there we think) with 7 day old Kelpie (another Scottish name) We’ve been told that They absolutely love this photo. They say it looks like Izzy is wondering “what the hell is that on my bed?” Don’t worry folks, Izzy was THE MOST PERFECT MAMA-DOG. She was always making sure we were beautifully clean, even when we were old enough to do it ourselves! You know what we boys are like – Mummy’s boys!

Sadly, both Izzy and Kelpie are no longer with us, but apparently I look like Izzy, and Finlay has a lot of Kelpie’s characteristics!

Flashback Fridays

Oh My! Take a look at that milky-face. This is Finlay. How can I tell. Well I’ve been told by Her that ‘cos we were all boys with no distinguishing differences, She put little coloured ribbons around our necks to tell us apart. Finlay had a blue one, and if you look closely you can see a little piece of blue ribbon sticking out.

For your information I had a grey ribbon – the reason why? ‘Cos I was named Bobby after the book “Greyfriars Bobby” – there you go, not only informative information (hey, what?) but historical info too – no, not hysterical, although that’s truly possible with me, but HIS-to-ri-cal. There. I’ve told you.

Flashback Fridays

We had our final Bank Holiday weekend in the UK last weekend, the next isn’t till Christmas Day! Anyway the weather was pretty soggy, so we spent some time pawing through all our photos and we decided to share some of these under  the heading “Flashback Fridays”.

Here’s the first (of plenty we can assure you) of Me, Finlay and our 2 litter brothers a couple of weeks after our birth. Whoa! aren’t we tiny. My ears are bigger now than then. Can’t say that about Finlay though, ‘cos we never see his ears!

Hope you enjoy the first of our Flashback Fridays – have a grrrreat weekend.
