Two Faces ….

Two FacesIt looks like Mama has been getting all her dates mixed up : posting Flashback Fridays on a Thursday. Silly Mama. Anyway, I’ve been looking through my gazllion photos and have settled on this one.

These two “half” faces (of Fabi and Mama) make one great big Happy Face!

Have a great weekend everyone – we love you all from the bottom of our great big scottie hearts!

PS: sorry for our absence, hope to come visiting next week, so I hope you’ll all be in!

It’s Super-Saturday!

Yay! It’s Super-Saturday here, for the extended Clan Sparhawk. My nephew Angus and niece Poppy celebrate their 13th birthday’s today. Yipppppeeeee!

They both live in different households, and as you know we often get to meet Poppy and go for fabulous walks with her and her Mama. So it came as a wonderful surprise to hear from the family of Angus. It certainly looks like he’s doing rather well – got that “sleeping gene” covered I see!!

Both families say they’ll send more birthday pictures, so watch this space ………!

Today is …..

Mama and Dada’s Wedding Anniversary. Not that there’s any evidence of that around the house. No flowers for Mama, and no boy gifts for Dada – just another day.

However, on the actual day, they wanted their three scottie girls to share in the fun. They had planned to have a very good friend to wait with the scotties outside the church, but the Reverend would have nothing of the sort – she said that the Scottie must come inside the church and take part in the ceremony. Part of the actual declaration read out by the Reverend included references to those three little scottie girls!

Anyway, here’s a few photos of The Big Day …..

And our chapter is …

No …. the smell actually smells like Mama’s “Meat Lovers Biscuits” she makes for me every couple of weeks – she doesn’t like buying kibble, but prefers to bake my biscuits herself …. Anyway less of that, what are those humans doing here?

I creep stealthily into the cabin on my 4inch legs – lucklily no one is interested in looking at the floor so I seem to be able to continue unnoticed – thank goodness for that – so I manage to get to the back door and escape into the night. My master most certainly was not amongst those humans having their fun in that cabin. Or was that fun … I’m so not sure ….

Oh boy …. so if he wasn’t there where oh where was he. Was I distracted by the smell of cooking? Or was his smell mingled within that delicious smell of baking in order to put me off my trail. I’m better than that. I can feel he was here … but not anymore.

Oh shall not be deterred. Help is needed. The snow is still falling and I’m surrounded by the forest. In this environment I am more at peace. No squealing, stomping or shouting humans in cabins that make me jump …. just the peace of a forest at midnight with snowflakes fluttering around me.

I stride forward. Confident that my posture will put off anyone trying to stop me find my master. Into the mist I tread. Into the snow covered countryside. Into the dark. Into the cold. Into to ….. Oh boy! what on earth is that emerging from the woods ……
