Dedicated to my beloved Scotties
I thought I’d cheer me and Fin up. So I stole Her credit card and purchased some Sea Jerky Skinny Strips made by Fish4Dogs. Not just one packet – but 20. Don’t tell Her though, but they were half price. They’re coming Express Delivery, which I hope means NOW! Oh …. where are they.

Yes. Today is St George’s Day. The patron saint of England. I tried “dressing” up but there’s not much in the line of fancy stuff like there is for our fellow patron saint “St Pat” so you will just have to do with a photo of a Rose and a Dragon. I picked this one because She especially likes dragons but doesn’t like to see them being speared by St George (‘cos that’s what he did) And anyway, I’m Scottish, so I won’t be celebrating until 30th November when it’s St Andrew’s Day. This should give me plenty of time to prepare an outfit.
Because Finlay is the centre of attention on our Scottie Health blog, we had a chat at it was agreed that me, Bobby, should be the “Editor” of Sparhawk Scottie Dogs. I’ve had words with Her and told Her to get Her act in order and set aside time for me to get on the ‘puter and chat with you, our Scottie Dog friends.
So to begin with, Sorry I’ve not been around. As you know Finlay is poorly. We have good days and bad days. We’re just coming through some bad days (hopefully). I’m gonna cheat a little bit and copy a few posts from his blog to share here. It’ll bring you up to date with what’s been happening.
I’ve been reading all your posts so despite the fact I’ve been unable to comment, I’m about up to date with what you guys have been doing.
This is us last Saturday (20th April) it was a lovely day here in the UK and we went for a stroll – well Finlay went for a stroll, I went on a walk/run!

Sorry we’ve not been around much, Finlay is quite ill with bladder cancer at the moment. I’ve set up a Scottie Health blog to try find other scotties suffering – the blog is successful, but I’ve not found any other scotties yet. I need to find some, based in UK, who are purebred and have bladder cancer and are willing to take part in a survey. Finlay is the blogs mascot – so he is doing his thing for scotties in his own small way.
So again, apologies for not visiting your sites and posting comments. We are on the mailing list of most of you, so we do know what you’ve been up to!

I don’t know how long Fin has left with us, but I’ll make sure that it’s as long as possible without causing him any discomfort.
