When Fabi Met …

Oh well, in for a penny, in for a pound as they say here in England. Here’s a little Fabi something or another. We’ve decided that for the moment I’ll post of her behalf, that is until she’s a bit older, then she can do her own work!

So, here comes a series of posts that I’ll call “When Fabi Met …” cos for a while some of these things that I meet every day, will be a “first” for Fabi. And these photos are of when she met the resident swans on our local mini reservoir ….

It’s NOT fair … is it?

Mama said I’ve GOT TO start included Fabi in my postings, and to sometimes let her “speak”. Apparently Mama hasn’t got the time to continue developing Fabi’s own bloggie, so she MUST share mine. This is so not fair.

So, the picture below will eventually be our new gravatar/avatar thingy, and I’ll find a nice picture of her as well, eventually. In fact, it might end up being to my advantage as I can take a back seat role and just enjoy watching her do some of the work!

Thirsty Thursday

Bobby at chatsworth

This is lill ‘ole me, not much older than Fabi is now (about 5 months) on a BIG rock, have just had a tasty slurp from the River Derwent. We had just completed a fabulous walk around the Chatsworth Estate, and what better way than to end it off with the good old fashioned slurp!

Looking back at this, shows that I haven’t changed AT ALL – still slurping from the rivers wherever I go!

Scottish Castle,

There’s only a few complete castles left standing in Scotland and this is NOT one of them. This one is on the banks of the River Teviot. I took Mama and Dada on a Borders Abbeys Walk one day during our stay in Scotland. Such a tranquil stretch of water. And of course I had to take a slurp or two – photos of which you’ll see shortly under the usual title of ‘Thirsty Thursday’.
