Belly Band!

P1060546

How uncool this this!

It’s not my fault if I get caught short, is it? Its this blasted TCC thingy. I even forget I was wearing it this morning and went for a “pee”. Apparently He said the belly band actually worked – it caught my pee in the nappy liner inside it. No, They didn’t buy it, She made it, after checking out what was available on the webby thing.

Although I mentioned “uncool” no one else around here is wearing one – therefore I’m declaring it “well Dench” (apparently Dench means “cool” – makes you wonder what the human race it up to, re-inventing words that are already in existence – makes me glad I’m a Scottie!)

So, I hope everything is well Dench with you guys and that you’re having a grrrrreat weekend.

Apologies

We need to send you our sincere apologies for not getting around to see you all. Although we’ve posted stuff, we’ve been dragged off the computer as soon as we’ve clicked the “publish” button. And the reason for this rudeness from Her?

Well, since Finlay wasn’t satisfied with just having Cushings and got himself dosed up with TCC as well, She’s decided to create a website about Scottie Health. She hopes that other scottie owners will share their stories about the good and bad stuff that’s happened to their scotties in the hope that it will help other scottie owners and their scotties, not only to get the right treatment, but to show there’s other alternatives available.

Soooooo …… as the new website (www.scottishterrierhealth.com) is all about us (well not us as in Bobby & Finlay ‘cos we’ve got this site which is all about us haven’t we) but about us Scottie Dogs, we’ve decided to let Her off. For a while. But only for a while.

Oh …. another thing …..She said you’re all welcome to pop by, and if you want to add your own stories She’d be grateful – don’t forget this sharing is to help other Scottie Dogs.

So, that’s the reason we appear to be ignoring everyone … but we’re not really. Anyway, She thought she broke her neck at the weekend. Hospital said its only a very bad sprain – so we might get a chance to  get on the computer whilst She’s resting up a bit more. Get the treats ready!!!

Flashback Fridays

gus, few days oldFebruary is full of memories here. 8 Scotties puppies were born in February over the years, and this picture is of our beloved, but sadly missed older brother Gus (born 12th Feb 1999).

What a handful. He remained a “handful” throughout his life, but not in a bad way. He was larger than life. His placid and balanced temperament was second to none. Never a snarl on meeting other dogs, but a slow wagging of his rudder like tail spoke volumes – didn’t calm the pair of us down – oh no! we lived up to the “terrier” attitude that is so common with us Scots.

Hope you enjoyed revisiting Gus as a baby – we certainly did!

Happy Birthday to Us!

Yay! We are 10 today. Gonna do some big-time pawtying today, hopefully, if we can get her off our computer.

Anyway, it’s also Valentine’s Day today, so Happy Valentines to everyone. We hope those attending Ranger & Mollies Valentine Ball have a grrrrreat time.

Sorry for being Pawty Poopers, but we just couldn’t get Her organised – she’s been working on some sort of scottie health network or something. We’ll be thinking of you all and waiting impatiently to see all the photos. We hope you all enjoy yourselves.

For now, we’re gonna have some good tasty treats today, and if the snow has gone, maybe we’ll get out for a birthday walk.
