I Love Dogs

After further pawing around the “net” in search of more fur-ends, we remembered that we promised to visit I Love Dogs. Well, over we jumped and took a good sniff around and its a site dedicated to ……. dog food!

Well, Gus will be in his element.

What we also liked over there was a page about doggie food recipes. We’re most certainly gonna do serious damage to as many of those recipes as possible.

We’ll report back on our “tastings”. Oh and if you guys take a jump over there and check out those recipes, perhaps we can share those “tastings” together.

Arroooo-ing Scottie

We’ve had a long weekend here in the UK. A national Bank Holiday yesterday, Monday. So we’re out of sorts as we’ve lost a day. So, we’ve pawed our way through our earlier postings and thought we’d share this with you (again).

Here’s a clip of Izzy, (our mother) playing with Bobby & Me. Izzy is the one doing the arooo-ing. She kept that treasure of a skill all to herself, never shared it with any of us! Watch out for Gus making a last minute entrance to see what all the commotion is about.  (Izzy has since crossed the rainbow bridge, in 2009 and is still sadly missed …. by all of us)

Fin’s Foto Fun

This is a bit puzzling! We seem to be missing bits of us. Hey Ho! as we’re in the Kitchen we know Gus will certainly find us. He spend sooooo much time in there he’s bound to know all the hidey-holes where missing bits of us might go and hide. Let’s hope he doesn’t eat “us” first!

A Snake!!! A Snake!!

Well, not the type that Kyla hunts, that’s for sure! We don’t have those kinda snakes here in the UK. Ours are little bitty grass snakes, but boy did it make Her scream! She masked it by screeching at Bobby to “wait!” “wait!” There was about a trillion of these little human “yaps” whilst Bobby scurried after said “snake”. Then She took off in a fast scurry to catch up with Bob. The “snake” circled a tree, popped it’s head out to see where Bobby was, saw him still following, and so wriggled away deeper into the undergrowth. Phew!

Bobby then concluded that there were “snakes in the grass” all over the place, and not to be outdone, Finlay wanted to find his own snake. Thank goodness he didn’t succeed with that.

Me, Gus, I just watched it all from a distance.

Talking it all in my stride …….

(PS – no photos: snake too quick, She to screechy to act sensibly!)
