Dedicated to my beloved Scotties
This is a bit puzzling! We seem to be missing bits of us. Hey Ho! as we’re in the Kitchen we know Gus will certainly find us. He spend sooooo much time in there he’s bound to know all the hidey-holes where missing bits of us might go and hide. Let’s hope he doesn’t eat “us” first!
Well, not the type that Kyla hunts, that’s for sure! We don’t have those kinda snakes here in the UK. Ours are little bitty grass snakes, but boy did it make Her scream! She masked it by screeching at Bobby to “wait!” “wait!” There was about a trillion of these little human “yaps” whilst Bobby scurried after said “snake”. Then She took off in a fast scurry to catch up with Bob. The “snake” circled a tree, popped it’s head out to see where Bobby was, saw him still following, and so wriggled away deeper into the undergrowth. Phew!
Bobby then concluded that there were “snakes in the grass” all over the place, and not to be outdone, Finlay wanted to find his own snake. Thank goodness he didn’t succeed with that.
Me, Gus, I just watched it all from a distance.

We finally got out for a walk today! Well, She did take us out on Friday (1st time for 6 days), but She’s been very poorly for the last couple of weeks. So we should be grateful that She felt better today and took us out. We’re also very scruffy – for the same reason (Her being poorly), but now She’s getting better we think we’re in for some grooming torture!
We also helped with a bit of gardening. We’re very good at snoopervising. With our help, we made sure She put all the plants in the right place. Then the heavens opened so we went inside, but She stayed out! How silly, we hope she won’t be poorly again tomorrow.
Will get some photos of our hard work & post them shortly.
We changed! I know, you’ve probably already noticed. We thought we were getting a little “cluttered” with too many places to visit. Can be a bit distracting.
So …… More is Less – just like us Scotties. We’re “less” of a dog if you consider size as a primary factor, but we’re certainly “more” when it comes to character, tenacity and of course ….. teeth! (and if you add Gus and Kyla to this equation, then there’s appetite as well!).
We think we like the new style. Its simple and clean – something not very like us Sparhawk Scotties at all. Simple – oh no, we’re far too complex to be analysed. And clean? Good heavens, the merest thought of being clean appalls us. Unfortunately She doesn’t hold with this last sentiment. She makes sure we’re clean all most of the time.
OK folks, its been a blogging good week and the weekend fast approaches. Hope y’all have a great one and we’ll blog together next week.
