This is me, desperately taking on board water. The day got hotter and hotter, despite it starting out quite overcast. Mama was very worried about me. Dada had to carry me for a bit, but here at this little stream I’m still ok.

Places that Sparhawk Scottish Terrier dogs have visited

The Clan Walks were always very exciting. There were 3 of us (Gus, Finlay and me) and Mama’s friend’s 2 scottie (our other brother William and our niece Poppy).
Here we are a couple of years ago, having stumbled upon a White One – it looks like he managed to escape our “inquisition”!!

Camusfearna, or Sandaig in the Isle of Skye, was once the home of Gavin Maxwell, author of Ring of Bright Water. Our visits to the Isle of Skye, way back then, were regular. You couldn’t pass up a visit to this most beautiful of places. Such tranquility – until you see a pack of Scotties appearing along the forestry commision footpath!
If ever you get to the Isle of Skye you must visit this place. Sadly there’s nothing left due to a fire, but a Rowan Tree and a monument to Edal, one of Maxwell’s famous otters who sadly died in this fire. However, if you’ve read Maxwell’s books the atmosphere is heavy with memories of all those that lived in this beautiful place.
This is our photo – from the opposite side. No scotties in this photo, but rest assured we were there.

Today I should be somewhere Special, celebrating Scottish Terrier Health Networks “Awareness Day”. Hopefully I’ll be able to bring you photos, so “what this space” ….
Took them camping in my motorhome – all the way to Buxton for 8 days. It’s only 45 minutes from home, nestled in the heart of Derbyshire. Had a grrrreat time, lots of walking, eating and laying around relaxing.
Here’s just a few photos. Mama especially likes the “red” photo – when you see it, you’ll know what I mean!
SWAT’s back … (Sparhawk Wildlife Action Team) And guess what we’re starting off with …… a biiiiiig BULL.

I wasn’t scared at all, but Mama was, but she managed to get me a photo of Mr Bull. He looked right at me. Take a look at him.

He had some Lady Bulls with him and they had lots of baby bulls …… so we were really respectful of him. He’s been around for some years now, so we’re kinda friends. Yeah ….. really? – I don’t think so. He doesn’t play fetch very well!
I might be showing the whites of my eye as I keep a look out, but honestly I wasn’t scareded at all …. really?
Do you guys go SWAT’ing (Scottie Wildlife Action Team in your cases) and what do you see?
